West Coast Basketball Classic - Vancouver, British Columbia

The hoops scene in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is ramping up and generating a culture that has never been experienced north of the border. We've secured the best venue in the country, the new state of the art Olympic Oval that will soon be home to Olympic athletes in 2010. The venue is not just about speed skating though, it was built with a plan and legacy that will highlight basketball specifically. Right now there are 4 courts with NBA style flooring...and post games in 2010 there will be 8 courts.

The 2009 West Coast Classic is goign to be athlete centred and athlete focused. So we want to hear from you on what the craziest and sickest things you have experienced while playing in hoop tournaments, The plans are already to have DJs spinning, VIP lounges, pre-tournament team practices, camera's on the backboards, live feed to the jumbo tron, and instant up-to-the-date twitter feeds of action on all 4 courts.

What else can we do to make this your tournament? Throw out some ideas...top feedback will receive West Coast Classic jersey and hoodie.
